New Referee Training for 2021(due to Covid):

1. Go to Blue Sombrero and register as an adult/youth volunteer.

     a. If this is the first time you register as a volunteer, click “I am new to AYSO and want to volunteer” and follow the registration process.  (it may look different under Blue Sombrero)

     b. You will be assigned an AYSO ID number (as a volunteer).


2. Go to http://www.aysou.org/  and take the online Safe Haven training, the AYSO/CDC Concussion course, and the Sudden Cardiac Arrest course.

3. Using AYSOU.org, take the Online Course -> Referee courses -> Regional Referee Training

4. Using AYSOU.org, register and attend a in person referee field training.  Goto Instructor Led Courses -> Referee Instructor Led Courses -> Regional Referee Online Companion Course.



Ref Refresher Meeting:

Due to major changes to the LOTG for 2021 season, we are offering two sessions.  Everyone should attend at least one.

5U-14U games from Sept 11th thru Nov 13th
16U/18U’s start playing in August

NEW REFEREE SIGN-UP/TRAINING


To become a certified referee, please perform the following 3 steps:

INCIDENT REPORT FORM

The AYSO Incident Report Form is used whenever there is a personal injury, damaged property, or threats of or actual physical violence surrounding an AYSO game, practice, event or property.  The form should be prepared by the coach, AYSO Official, or AYSO Volunteer which may be a member of the regional staff such as the regional safety director, or by tournament or event staff members. Note:  This form should NOT be completed by a parent unless the parent is the coach.
