Note: you must be registered for Fall in the Core program in order to play in Sunday Select.
Enrollment is dependent on coach availability and number of teams formed.
Enrollment procedure:
This Fall, in addition to our usual Saturday games , AYSO Millbrae is happy to offer our players an opportunity to play additional games on SUNDAY as part of the Fall Select program.
There will be 8 games scheduled between mid-August until end of October. These games will be played against teams from other cities. There will be 4 Home games played in Millbrae and 4 Away games.
Age: this program is open to boys and girls born between 2003 and 2010, for those players between the ages of 8 and 15, who play in divisions 10U, 12U, 14U or 16U.
Atmosphere of the League: the Fall Select League is an “inter-city” program coordinated by AYSO Bay Area Fall Soccer League. In the words of the League Director: “All players must be registered for AYSO [...] Other than that, there are no restrictions on who may play in BAFSL.”
Cost: the enrollment cost of the League is expected to be around $40 per player.
Number of teams: the number of teams will depend on the number of players interested and the number of coaches who volunteer.

Question: does Sunday Select include weekly practices?
Answer: No. This is a game-only program. The program is simply meant to provide one additional game over the weekend.
Question: is Sunday Select an AYSO program?
Answer: Yes. The program is run by AYSO and is designed exclusively for AYSO players and coaches. The rules are the same as in all AYSO games.
Question: can a player participate only in the Sunday Select program?
Answer: No. In order to play in the Sunday Select program, a player must be enrolled in the Fall AYSO core program.
Question: should I wait to be invited to apply to the Sunday Select?
Answer: If you do not express interest, the coaches will not know that you want to play. Just apply.
Question: will everyone make the team?
Answer: it depends on how many players are interested and how many teams are formed.
Question: what are the requirements to coach a Sunday Select team?
Answer: You need to register as a volunteer, take the online Safe Haven, the Concussion course, and be certified.
Question: what is the time commitment to coach a Sunday Select team
Answer: there is no practice, so the only commitment is to come to the games. There can be up to 4 coaches associated with one team. At least one coach must be present at the game.
